BOOKING AND DEPOSIT TERMS & CONDITIONS

BOOKING IN AND PAYING YOUR DEPOSIT

  • A deposit must be paid at the time of booking via cash at the shop or bank transfer.  Bookings are not guaranteed until the deposit has cleared.  The deposit is deducted from the total price of your tattoo upon completion.

  • Deposits are non-refundable. Refer to 'Cancelling your Appointment' & 'Rescheduling your Appointment' below.

  • Gift Vouchers can be used as deposits by providing your voucher number.  The deposit amount is deducted at the time of booking and all deposit Terms and Conditions apply.

  • Gift Vouchers must be physically brought to your appointment when redeeming in part or full, otherwise full payment in cash is required.

CANCELLING YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations can be made via email or phone.

  • If you give us 72 Business Hours notification we will honour your deposit for 3 months from the date of your booking.  Refer to 'Rescheduling your Appointment' below.

  • Any cancellation made within 72 Business Hours prior to the start of your appointment date & time, will forfeit your deposit.

  • Business Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm.  Any contact made outside this time will be deemed as contact from the start of our next Business Hour.

RESCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • You can reschedule your appointment once, by giving us 72 Business Hours notification prior to the start of your appointment date & time.

  • Rescheduled appointments must be rebooked for a date within 3 months from the original date booked. 

  • Failing to attend your rescheduled appointment will result in your deposit being forfeited.

GO ECO WITH MIMSY - ECO SURCHARGE

Applicable to Mimsy Gleeson bookings only. Paid at time of deposit. Non-Refundable.

SHOP INFORMATION AND ETIQUETTE

CASH ONLY, PHOTO ID REQUIRED

  • We are a cash only studio, please bring cash to your appointment.  An ATM is located within a 2-minute walk on the main street of Annerley.

  • Photo ID is required at all appointments.  You cannot be tattooed without it so please double check you have it on you.

COVID, COLD & FLU SYMPTOMS

  • If you are sick or unwell, please do not come to your appointment.  Please call the shop to inform us you are unwell. If you knowingly attend your appointment with illness or covid symptoms, we will send you home and your deposit will be forfeited.

  • We sterilise all areas and equipment thoroughly and request customers practice social distancing.

  • We ask that you use the hand sanitiser provided at the front door, prior to entry.

  • Facemasks are not currently a requirement however our artists may choose to wear one and may request that you wear one also.

AT YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment and ensure you have eaten and are well hydrated.

  • We are unable to accommodate friends and family at appointments due to restricted space so please come to your appointment by yourself to avoid disappointment.

  • We generally have the aircon set to ARCTIC.  If this isn't your temperature preference, we do recommend bringing something warm to wear. 

  • Feel free to bring a blanket or pillow to your appointment to level up your comfort, especially if you have a long session booked.  Lunch, snacks and water is also recommended.

  • We do not recommend getting tattooed while pregnant or breastfeeding and do require you to disclose this information at your appointment. It is at the artists discretion if they choose to tattoo you.

  • Children and pets are not permitted in the shop.

TATTOO AFTERCARE

  • At the end of your appointment, our artists will run through all the information you will need to help heal your new tattoo.  If you have any questions along the way, please give us a call at the shop.

  • We sell Inky Tattoo Salve in 12g tins for $10.  Inky is a collaboration of love by Melbourne couple Rudie and Brooke Rashid.  Inky Is Lovingly Handmade, Proudly Vegan, Cruelty Free And 100% Natural.

GETTING HERE, PARKING & LOCAL AMMENITIES

  • We are located on the 2nd floor, please head up the front steps to check into reception.

  • Free parking is located on the surrounding streets and the carpark located beside and behind the shop.

  • Annerley shops are located within 2 mins walk. You'll find an ATM, Woolworths and a range of takeaway options.

  • Fairfield is train station is a 5 minute walk away, along with numerous bus stops.

Under most conditions, these terms and conditions are non-negotiable due to the effect on our artists livelihood.
